OBSESSED. I've bought three and will be buying more. I've washed them all several times and have had no issues with shedding or fuzzballs, though I always wash blankets separately from clothing. They're super warm, sooooo soft, and not too thick. The colors are beautiful. My dogs and I are all totally in love with these blankets. Highly recommend!

I love this blanket. I made the mistake of not washing it before putting it on my bed and was covered in yellow lint. As long as you wash it first it’s perfect. The weight is great for hot sleepers, it’s very soft and it launders well. It’s my new favorite blanket.

I bought 2 of these blankets in different colors. The shedding is out of control. I have washed and dried these at least 5 times and still cannot use them due to the shedding everywhere. I really want to like them. For those who experienced shedding and kept it, did the shedding ever stop? What worked for you? They’re just taking up space for me so if the shedding doesn’t stop I’ll donate them. Thanks to anyone who responds with solutions!

Good soft fluffy throw blanket. I have bought Berkshire blankets before. They are warm and soft. This is a light weight version. My first thought was it was to light to be warm. Well I took a nap with it and woke up hot. I love it. It’s truly very fluffy and so soft. Be sure to follow the washing and drying on them. Air or cold air dry it. It sits on my bed and now my cat has claimed it.

I bought this even though it said it was returned a lot. So glad I did! When I washed and dried it I thought for sure my dryer lint trap would be full. It wasn’t it does not shed! It is the softest warmest blanket I have ever had! So glad I purchased it.

When you first receive this blanket, it’s so silky and smooth and soft, albeit way thinner than I thought it would be for the price and from this brand. After sleeping with it the first night, I noticed the excessive shedding…like our bedroom was just covered in this blankets fuzz! So I washed it…however, I knew based on the thinness and fluffiness of this blanket (as opposed to some heavier 100% polyester blankets that are silky but not fluffy) that it would probably act like faux Sherpa and get rough on me if I used heat, so I washed it on a gentle cycle with cold water and a little soap. Then I threw it in the dryer on a low tumble air dry (AIR DRY, so no heat whatsoever) and, of course, it came out way less fluffy. AND it continued to shed like crazy. After a third wash, the shedding is not as bad all over, but it still is on my side of the bed…the only reason I can think is due to my more calloused feet and prickly leg hair from shaving. So, unless you wear long pants and socks to bed and don’t mind the texture of slightly matted Sherpa, than this blanket isn’t for you. The color is pretty and it’s nice and big, plenty space on all sides for me and my husband in a king bed…but I wouldn’t spend $40+ on it again. So we’re still in search of a 100% polyester blanket that rivals Costco in thickness, smoothness, and no change in texture after washing (and you can even wash and dry the one from Costco with heat)

Love the color. Love how soft and good it feels. Hate the fact it sheds. Wash it alone. I have washed it 3 times and it still sheds badly. I have little red fuzzies all over my bed and floor. Use a dryer sheet to wipe out your dryer as well or all your future laundry will have fuzzies. I threw out one of my shirts. Too much work to try to remove the fallout.

I like this blanket. Washed and dried it to fluff it up. No softener, very low heat and it came out perfect! It's not quite as thick and fluffy as the Berkshire extra fluffy throws I purchased a few years ago, but it works well on my king bed. I will use this as my winter blanket here in Florida, most blankets are way too hot for me. This one lets the air circulate while keeping your body temperature warm. You could also use this under a quilt in a colder climate, it would work well.
