Great prodct
This product really works well! But follow the instructions carefully and don't spill it.

The filler is not strong enough
I gave it 3 stars because of the good variety of pieces that came with it including the Mink oil. But very disappointed as the filler material did not stick onto leather seat after letting it dry for several hours. The kit is good if you just want to recolor, not to fix torn up material.

Impressed with complete kit
Seems like a good kit. Unfortunately the color didn’t match the leather seats I need to repair. I was impressed with how complete the kit was though

Better than others
My leather sectional is showing its age due to high use, kids, pets... I was able to apply this product to a few less obvious areas and it looks pretty good, although there's no real way to match things perfectly. It works well enough that I'm going to move on to the other more visible areas. The instructions are pretty straight-forward and the product is easy to apply. Even though the match isn't perfect, I feel this product will slow the damage and that's worth the effort.

Bad instructions
The recoloring balm was probably a good product, but I wasn't given all or good directions. I had to look up more directions on the website, and even after both sets of directions too much product was put on with their method. I would recommend watching the you tube video, which says to use the sponge to dab it on. I had to take it all off with paint thinner and I am considering trying again.

Very Effective On Boot and Shoe Damage, With Some Work
I first tried another product called "Leather Binder" from a UK company that ended up being totally useless garbage for my purposes. Literally did almost nothing. In contrast, this kit is very complete and works well. The viscosity of the filler cream is thick enough to allow you to fill pits and scratches more easily. The balm is pretty effective at covering the dried filler, but might take a few coats to completely cover it if you want to surface to be smooth. The mink oil is great, as well as the tools provided.if you need a smooth surface on harder leather, like toes of boots and shoes, pick up some high-grit sandpaper to smooth out the dried filler and balm. Both go on smooth, but still will leave a rough surface which is more visible than the surrounding smooth leather when polished. Sandpaper also helps with scratches that have raised the leather upwards over time. You can fill these easily with the product, but overall the area will still end up being raised and visible. Sand these areas down prior to or after filling with the cream, then reapply cream and then apply balm as necessary. For pits or other sections where the leather is missing, it can be a longer process to get them completely filled and flush with the surrounding surface. If the filler or balm has dried completely and is present around the edges of an area you filled, sand only those surrounding areas down after the products have dried, then apply a light coating of balm, or regular shoe polish to cover and match the rest of the surface. It would help though if the filler was not white in a kit for black leather though, in my opinion, just to allow for easier coverage with the balm after the filler cream is dry.

Leather seat rip repaired but not perfect
It wasn’t a perfect black match for my leather seats. Kind of looked like plastic and didn’t repair the tears smoothly like YouTube videos
