This is a rare find that I have incorporated into my smoothies.

I was super excited to try this My husband is from Honduras and he has been wanting this it just came today but I can't risk it it's glass all broken even if I was to rinse the food off I can't take that chance of a piece of small glass and getting into my stomach

I'm generally not a fan of canned fruit, but this did not disappoint, at all

When I had the opportunity to visit Costa Rica this past June, one of the culinary highlights was visiting a humble fruit stand and buying a fresh guanabana. Once I got my first taste, I fell on the rest of the fruit like a thing possessed, scarfing down the majority of it in a matter of a few hours...since it was almost the size of my head, this tells you how much I loved it. Since returning to the midwestern US, I have searched for a way to get some form of guanabana brought to me! Amazon offers packaged juice, but this jarred guanabana is the closest that I have found to the fresh stuff. The syrup seems to increase the sugar content a bit, and there is a sourness that I didn't find with the fresh article, but it may be the best chance that I have to relive that tasty afternoon of fruity gluttony, at least until I can get back to Central America again! Pura Vida!
