Hunter Hydrawise X2-400 4 Station Hydrawise Controller Bundeled with Wand WiFi Module X2 4 Zone Outdoor or Indoor Smart Internet X2400 Irrigation Timer

Upgraded the controller that came with our house to the X2 series so I could remotely program the system. Plus the weather station tie-in allows me to save quite a bit of money on the water bill by not watering when rain is forecast. Definitely worth the investment.

Woks great, WiFi was a little difficult to set up

Replaced a tired Intermatic unit with this one. It was properly connected but the App would not work correctly no matter what we tired. The vendor sent a replacement WAND and that did not solve the issue. We set the controller to run manually and our irrigation water bills went from $46/mo to $132/mo. We checked the day and duration settings and they were correct, checked the irrigation system for leaks, none found. Ended up calling in an irrigation company that also found zero leaks and determined that the controller was in fact defective. Replaced the Hunter unit with an Intermatic and out monthly water bills to normal. Sent emails to the Hunter vendor, no reply, Contacted Hunter, nothing!!

I purchased this to replace a Hunter controller without WIFI. For some reason, this controller would not pair with my internet/server. Jamie, the vendor rep, sent me another which came closer to pairing, but still would not identify my system. I returned this, and also the second controller, and purchased a similar Rainbird controller from the same vendor that installed and paired easily. I think its software was better for pairing. If you have a similar problem, try the Rainbird. Jamie was incredibly responsive and worked well with me to sort out this challenge.

Works and operates very good. Purchased because claimed it worked with Alexa. Does Not! The Skill for it to work is either obsolete or simple a ruse to entice buyers. Kept the controller because didn’t want to install a new one. But NOT HAPPY to be tricked into it. BEWARE Hopefully the skill will eventually be available.

Works well Was easy to connect to Wi-Fi and is staying connected. Nice to be able to configure timing changes and test zones via phone app instead of walking back and forth to controller.

Replaced an indoor, non-wifi Hunter controller with this model. The best aspect is the phone-based app. The software is very intuitive making setup a breeze.

Amazon shipped the wrong product, as soon as the vendor found out they emailed immediately and them followed up several times in the exchange process. One of the more responsive and caring vendors that understand a 2 minute email means everything.
