My Go To Buckwheat Cracker
Love these, they are a staple. Ignore the poor reviews, some people just don’t like buckwheat. If you do and you’re gluten free, these are best of the buckwheat crackers available - light, crispy and not too salty. (Amrisa are too salty and not crispy enough in my opinion).

Excellent free from food, tastes the same as regular crispbread
Maybe it's a bit of an unfair comparison to look at these as a food, rather to compare them to regular crisp breads. On that score they do very well, I certainly wouldn't be able to tell the difference. They have a satisfying snap and grainy texture. Like regular crisp breads they have very little flavour and are low in calories. For someone on a restricted diet who enjoys crisp breads this is the closest product I've ever tried to the one it is trying to emulate. Don't break when spread, tastes equally good with sweet or savoury toppings. Since introducing my mum to these last month she's already on her third box!

Mediocre
Hmmm... it's hard to get excited about a gluten free cracker, sorry, crispibread. Usually it's what you put on the thing that is the exciting bit - cream cheese and smoked salmon being a particular favorite of mine or maybe some brie with a bit of black pepper. On their own these things taste of very little and cannot be described as 'nutty' imho. They look awful - like pale extruded plastic and it's no surprise they are low in fat as there's really only one main ingredient = buckwheat (which Aussie company Orgran are quick to point out has nothing to do with wheat). They didn't make me want to vomit, but they also didn't make me think 'yum, I must buy some more of these as they are delicious!'

AWFUL 🤢
Congrats to the company that managed to produce this bland, tasteless cracker with a cardboard/polystyrene texture. I'm trying to eat healthier and to switch to wholewheat products but that doesn't mean a snack needs to be a punishment in order to be healthy!!!! 😂Now I have 6 pack of this at home and I bring them with me to the river to feed the ducks.
