Exceeded my expectations, I love these binos.....
I received these binoculars just before going to Pismo Beach in California for a week long camping trip. I didn't have any time to try them out before we left so I didn't have any idea what they would do. I was very amazed when I tried them the first time while at the beach. The image stabilization is unreal! The wind was blowing at 10 to 15 mph yet I was able to see the whiskers on a seal swimming in the surf about 150 yards from the shoreline with the 20X42 binoculars. With the stabilization turned off I could barely recognize the thing I was looking at was a seals head or if it was one of the many pelicans in the area. 20 power binoculars, hand held in the wind, and yet a perfectly clear image. I told my friend that was with me these things had "Voo Doo magic" in them! The ergonomics took me a little while to get used to. But after using them for a short time I became quite comfortable with them. The field of view is narrow on the 20X and target acquisition takes some practice.I used them a little just before it got dark, they absolutely do NOT gather any light. They still work but the image seems darker thru the lens than with the naked eye. I did not get a chance to try them in the dark because the marine layer fog bank rolled in every night.Looking forward to giving them a try for spotting rock chucks in a week, and maybe while I'm out there I'll find the hiding spot of my next mule deer!!!Pricey, but I'm glad I bought them.

Great binoculars
Great binoculars. Image stabilization works great. Would be better if they had a wider field of view but the clear stable view is well worth the trade-off.

Selling used items as new?
This two star review is for “Helios Online Sales” not the Sig Sauer binoculars themselves. When you pay over a thousand dollars for a “new” set of binoculars, you tend to get a little pissed off when your item arrives and all the factories seals on the box have been tampered with, the accessories have been removed from their original packaging, there are giant finger print smudges all over your lenses and the box is put back together with packaging tape. It’s hard to say if this was a return, some retailers store demo model or a refurbished item, but it damn sure wasn’t “new”. Helios also advertises a rather expansive delivery window and, in my case at least, they used virtually every bit of it to deliver my item. It was almost three weeks from the time I placed my order until the binos were received.Fortunately, all the accessories are accounted for, even if they were just tossed in the box. And after a bit of clean up, the binoculars themselves appear to be undamaged.I will say that the performance of the binoculars is quite impressive thus far. The image stabilization is tremendous and the image quality is quite acceptable. The only downside to the product itself is that it ships without any objective lens covers and the ocular lens covers are borderline worthless. They don’t fit snugly, aren’t tethered in any way and will just fall off any time you handle the binos.

Unbelievable
These are mind blowing. For hunting A+. For birdwatching A+. For showing people and them thinking it’s some kind of magic A+. I’ve never had image stabilization in binoculars so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it’s a completely different experience than regular binoculars. The image clarity is wonderful and they are built well. They fit perfectly in the marsupial binoc pouch. I bring them with me hiking the dogs and I’ve had them for a while and it’s still mind blowing how clearly you can look at a hawk or an eagle even when they’re flying. Overall A+.

Zulu6 20x42
The media could not be loaded. Great binoculars. Image stabilization is just out of this world. I wish that the field of view was better but that’s what you get with 20x magnification. In the video I show how to turn on the Target Mode - you have to turn it on then off and then back on within 2 secondsWhen the LED is green it indicates that you’re in a scan mode (and it’s very good), when the power indicator turns to amber that’s when you’re in the Target Mode and that’s what the magic begins

Wow 20x and a stable image!
These are probably going to take the place of my spotting scope in most hunting situations. My son has the 12x and now with these 20x binos you can really zoom in. The image stabilization is a game changer for sure. I have 10x rangefinder binos for general spotting and once I spot something these Sigs become the go to.
