Perfect as described

Having had 2 metal telescopic boathooks fail recently (they just can't take any significant force), it's back to good old-fashioned wooden pole and plastic hook. This is better than metal hooks, which are heavy enough to cause much more injury when chastising the crew. Good price, good design, good strength: all you need is a screw and a 1 inch diameter pole from DIY. Even if you replace the pole every year or so, it's much cheaper than the metal telescopic ones.

Hook looks great.Only question I have is how do I contact the seller? I have ordered 2 hooks and only 1 arrived in the package. It is very difficult to contact either Amazon or the seller. This review is intended to attract the attention of the seller or Amazon??

Boat hook endI've had a very similar one of these before but it got crashed and broke. I didn't want to spend loads on a metal one and find this plastic one. It looks to be made of very good/strong/hard plastic and it's a perfect size to fit on my existing pole.It will need a small hole drilling in it to fit in my pole but that is easily done.For the money I'm very happy with it.

Not an expensive item but seems to be well made.
