Hanesmens Perfect Flex V-neck Tee, Stay Tucked Undershirt, Slim Fit Tight on Arms T-shirt, White & Black Undershirt (pack of 1)

(it's true, it's a really nice undershirt)...and like the rest of us say, this shirt is also actually tight...as in very form-fitting. I normally wear a medium, and while the description states it has a slim close-to-body fit...personally, it's a little TOO close to the body. No airflow whatsoever, and as someone who runs warm and lives in a warm climate (ok...blistering hot), I could never get away with wearing this under a dress shirt in the summer. On the plus side, the material itself is very soft and comfortable and the longer length will definitely keep it tucked and out of the way...but ALL of that being said, this shirt is not worth the current $28 price when you can get a 6-pack of 100% cotton v-neck undershirts for less than $20.

Hanes is just a good manufacturer. I used to pay extra for premium for other brands just to watch the quality go down. I learned to appreciate Hanes quality over the last ten years working with merchandise and printing T-shirts. They just have a good lifespan and keep their shape. It's not a high end product but solid. This this shirt has a good fit and feels good. Great for wearing under a sweater, button down, or polo shirt. Five stars from me!

Just wasn't a good fit for me because of my size. However the quality was not worth the price.

I was not expecting to see Modal/Spandex fabrics from Hanes, but this foray into high-end underwear market is definitely worth a look. The shirts are sized for an athletic / slim fit (as stated in the description), so sizing wise, a tighter fit is expected. However, the fabric is very stretchy, and this type of undershirt is meant to give you a soft hug, rather than just hang loose everywhere. The fabric is of a very high quality (I can't tell any difference from other brands' 90 Modal / 10 Spandex blends); as expected with Modal, some additional care is required when washing these garments (do not use softener!). The seams and trim are finished well, with proper care this undershirt should wear well and last a while.The price for these high-end fabrics will always be something to consider; this is not your typical multi-pack underwear. If you are looking for a high-end feel, and are willing to buy into luxury goods, this might be the one for you.

I ordered this undershirt to wear with my nerdy RSVLTS button up shirts to provide a barrier to sweat and oil getting on the shirts when I wear them.This Hane's undershirt is my first experience with modal fabric, and I find it to be very soft and breathable. The 10% spandex also gives the shirt a bit of stretch. This shirt is not bulky and like that it has a longer length for tucking compared to a regular t-shirt. All these features really do add up to make this an awesome undershirt. I probably would not wear this as a shirt on its own... too form fitting for me.It's worth mentioning that the care instructions say to not use fabric softener on this shirt (no idea why).The only negative for me is the price. Very expensive for one shirt ($28 for large at time of review).
