can these be fitted to caravans with decking

Can you remove the end pole/handle and turn it upside down? When pulled out we are looking at the side with the stitching on and would like to turn it

200cm is too low.. Could I attach this to the wall raised up by another 100cm and still put the connecting post on decking? If so, how?
