Well engineered but demand accuracy
These are lovely pieces of equipment, somewhere between a plastic RAW plug and an expansion bolt.Constructed of brass coloured metal which appears to be corrosion resistant these expanding solid wall/floor/cement/cultured marble etc (not mortar) brass anchors are precision made M6 sockets. I coupled these with M6 bolts from the same company and the tooling was perfect.Which brings me to why only 4*? You need exactly the right sized drill bit to fit these anchors, not a bit small and waggled around or too large but it will do, no Sir, you must have exactly the right drill or these are useless. So for these M6 bolts I need a 7mm drill bit, not 6 or 8mm. Once fitted you should find they are solid but you need to have realistic expectations of their load bearing as they are just 22mm long with an expansion of a couple of mm at most. Hence the need to be very accurate with your drill width and depth too as you cannot screw in your bolt beyond the anchor's end.

Brilliant .... Just Brilliant. A tough dependable wall pinning/hanging solution
Your wall plugs cant cope, either are being pulled out by the object weight and/or its stresses; or is in constant danger of being so. At the same time, pushing/drilling a hole right through the wall for a retaining bolt is not practical, cost effective or aesthetically ugly. You mutter "why dont these raw plugs hold in the hole better.... grrr". We've all been there :)These expansion bolts come to the rescue, and are a practical halfway house between a wall plug and a retaining bolt drilled right through the wall/object. You drill the hole to the size needed for the retaining sleeve (be precise in drilling, you dont want the drill bit moving side to side over-widening the hole). Screw in a retaining bolt it the same way as you screw into a raw plug; job done. Its not coming out any time soon. Do be careful not to over widen the hole when drilling, it needs to be a tight fit. Once its in, its not coming out any time soon - make sure you select its location carefully first time (!)The retaining bolt widths are numerous, no problem there, arguably more width options than raw plugs frankly. The cost is considerably more than raw plugs, but not onerous by any measure, given the strong easy to apply long term solution they supply.Wonderful, run dont walk to get some.

Great for heavy fixing
I would highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to mount a tv to a brick or breeze block wall, the quality is outstanding and so easy to use. I have used this product for all my tv's,(4 on several walls in each room), and for many of my friends tv's too. I chose this one as some of the walls in my home are thin breeze block so the short length was needed but can still anchor the tv brackets. Will definitely be buying this product again.

Easy to use, perfect fit and great hold
I got these for anchoring heavy shelving units onto the garage brick wall. Very light and easy to use. All you need to do is to drill the required size hole, hammer bolt in and you're ready to fasten. As it’s made of brass, it’s easy to drive in to the tight hole. Bolts expands at the end when screwed all the way in. Bolt screws in correctly and holds as expected. These are fit perfect and very tight hold. Good product.

Anchors for light to medium applications
These don't have a tool to drive in a central plug to expand them and rely on the hole being drilled of the correct size to allow the inserted bolt to expand the sleeve enough to stop it spinning round. Make sure the hole is cleared of dust and bits and is the right depth, insert the sleeve, lightly screw a bolt in to tap it home and then screw the bolt up to lock the fixing in place.Worked a treat for me.

Heavy solid brass for weatherproof attachment to solid walls
Better than rawlplugs and other plastic or wooden wall plugs, these solid metal brass anchors are easy to fit: simply drill the right size hole in your brick or concrete wall or floor, then insert the bolt and tighten it with a spanner. As you tighten, the anchor expands, gripping the wall and holding fast. And boy do they grip!Unlike other plugs, the anchors can also be removed and re-used.Made of brass they should be fully weatherproof so wont rust away if used in damp conditions.Great product

Good and useful
While seemingly light and insubstantial, barely larger than a cigarette filter, these well made (M5) brass fittings should certainly be up to supporting the usual range of lighter household fittings that need just that bit more support than usual and staying solidly in place for the duration and as I always say, do itProperly the first time and you won't have to come back and do it a second time!
