This is a must-have for the C8. It’s built tough and easy to install. I added a powered magnetic mount to secure my phone. Plugged that into the cigar lighter hidden below the glove box for a fantastic setup. I have a leather case on my phone so I superglued the metal ring (supplied with powered mount) on the leather and that really secures the phone even on really bumpy roads.

Works great. Only wish I had gotten the charger version.

The media could not be loaded. Took a minute to see how it snugs in the little corner behind the screen. Without it tucked in it’s useless and confusing. Attached a video that explains. I casually threw the piece of paper it came with to the side, oops.

I’m not really a fan of the wireless charger in the C8 because it’s a hassle to reach for it while I’m driving. I also don’t always want to keep my phone in my pocket if I’m waiting for a text or call.With that said, my first impression of this product is excellent! I was skeptical before buying due to the lack of reviews. Getting the bracket on was a little sketchy because I wanted to make sure I didn’t damage the leather. Regardless, the instructions are clear and simple.Pros:Perfect fit, very strong magnet (especially if your phone case has a built-in magnet), high quality material that matches the interior (black with silver accents), sleek design that mostly blends in with your interior, phone mount attachments can swivel, multiple mounting attachments to chose from, phone doesn’t block your infotainment screen or touch/block the buttons, and rubber padding on the inside of the mount that prevents it from scratching your infotainment screen.Cons:Personally I am not a fan of how the attachments connect to the main mount (4 small Phillips screws), lack of color options (would be cool if they made color matched ones….you could always paint the silver part yourself!) and lastly…the price. But if you’re looking for a solution, you have to pay for the time it took Scosche to design this product for us.I highly recommend if you’re looking for a way to mount your phone without using the vents. Happy with my purchase, and worth it.
