EDIT: After using this charger for a couple months, driving from the Pacific Northwest to Michigan's UP and back, on gravel roads and interstate highways in a huge dually pickup that rides like an ox cart, it is still fantastic! So I want to respond to some of the complaints about it that have been posted since I wrote my review. The strength of the magnets is excellent. If a device is falling off of this charger, it is because the device was mispositioned on the charger, the device is an early MagSafe iPhone with weaker magnets, or the device is in a case that is low quality or non-MagSafe. It surprises me how many people put their MagSafe phone in a case that isn't MagSafe and then complain about their phone not sticking to MagSafe chargers. As for vibration, this charger is rock solid. If a phone is vibrating on it, this is because the AMPS mount itself is vibrating. That's not the charger's fault. (This does happen to me on washboard gravel roads.)FWIW, I'm back to buy my fourth MagicMount charger!Original review:I purchased the Scosche MEQMRAMPS MagicMount Qi2 to replace an old clamp-style phone holder that was installed in my truck on an AMPS-style bracket. It was a simple matter to remove the old phone clamp and replace it with this Scosche. The magnetic coil seems to hold my iPhone at least as securely as Apple's latest 25W OEM charger.I love the sleek, clean design of this product. The dark grey and black materials have a matte finish that looks great and blends well with my truck's interior. The innovative cable management system completely eliminates any excess cable. And the soft surface of the charging pad ensures that nothing gets scratched. This is a well thought out product.This product has two main components: the MagicMount charging pad; and the charger itself, which is a 40W charger with Power Delivery that fits into a cigarette lighter-style power port in a vehicle. It features two USB-C ports, leaving users with one available port even after the Scosche is plugged in. I did not use or test the Scosche charger.In terms of heat, it is important to remember that wireless charging is more convenient but less efficient than plugging in a USB-C cable into your phone. Heat is the result of this inefficiency. There is no way to avoid heat with a wireless charger. But how hot is normal? I consider the heat generated when charging with the new Apple 25W MagSafe charging puck to be the reference point. Well-designed third-party chargers shouldn't get significantly hotter when charging. To test this, I plugged the MagicMount into an Anker charger that I trust, attached my iPhone 13 Pro, and after it had charged for a while, I measured the temperature on the back of the phone with an IR thermometer. I compared this reading to what I got when attached my phone to the Apple 25W puck under the same conditions. I am happy to report that the two measurements were the same.The bottom line here is that I love this product. It looks great and it works well. I like it so much that I will be buying another one to use in my other vehicle. It is easy to recommend. Five stars.

Great charming mount, the magnet holds strongly and it charges fast. Great system to use just throw it on the charger and off your driving. I’m thinking about getting another to affix to my desk at work. Great quality and I like that you can wind the extra cord length around it but inside where you can see it. Great system.

This works great to both charge my phone and position it perfectly while using Waze.

Fit perfectly on my existing mount. Very minimal and unobtrusive. Easy cable management that wraps into a channel behind the magnet to shorten or lengthen the power cable.Only downside is the “MagSafe” is one of the weaker versions I’ve seen. The iPhone 16 pro max with a thin case barely pulls to the magnets and it takes a few adjustments for it to “lock-on” and even then a slight bump to the bottom or top of the phone will release it.

I bought 3 of these (regrettably) to put in each of my cars. In hindsight, probably should have only gotten one first to try it out, but now I'm stuck with 3 that I do not like...at all. Primary reason I'm giving this such poor review is stability of the mount. Yes, it's secure. Yes, the magnet is very strong. However, the swivel connection is not sturdy in the east bit. Meaning, as soon as you start driving, even on smooth roads, the phone shakes so much to the point you can't even read the screen. There is no risk of the phone falling off, but it also renders the phone useless if you're using it to look at directions or anything else while driving.I used to have the ProClip Apple MagSafe charger holder, and that was rock solid. I wish I kept it before selling the car.Again, this MagicMount looks great, charges very well, but it fails miserably when it comes to keeping the phone steady.

I absolutely love this phone holder it’s so convenient with the magnetic mount allowing me to remove my phone quick and easy. It works so well and looks to be pretty durable.

Scosche Qi2 MagSafe Car Mount, Wow impressed with the quality of the MAGICMOUNT went of a 8 hour road trip the product performed better than any prior Magnetic wireless MagSafe mount. If you are in the market for MagSafe mount give this one a try, you will not be disappointed.

So I was excited to get this product. I have always had good luck with paying more money to get a better product. This product wasn’t cheap so I got it. It over heated and came apart. It started smelling like burnt glue in my van, so I pulled over thinking something was wrong with my van. I found nothing wrong with van. When took off I hit a pot hole and my phone dropped. I noticed the charger came a part and my phone was too hot to touch, as was the charger. Not sure if this was a defected charger or not. I’ll give the product 1 more chance. I’ll update the post after the second one. I gave the product 3 stars because the what happen. I’d also like to point out that the magnetic is not as strong as they claim. My phone fell off the charger a lot.
