Missing adhesive additive
Window film came with everything except adhesive additive. Couldn’t contact seller to ask for the one thing I needed had to return. Tried to install with just water but it didn’t work and stay on window. Also not a convenient return, had to ship back in box.

Almost impossible to get it bubble-free
I wanted to make my basement windows more secure- they're small sliding windows. I figured a combination of sliding locks and this coating would be enough to motivate someone away from crawling through a broken window. Size- I had 6 windows (3 2-part windows) that measured 12x14.5" each. I had just enough to do all windows fully.I followed the directions fully- cleaned, scraped with a razor, cleaned again, sprayed soapy water on the window and the coating, and then applied. Everything would squeegee out nicely, but as they dried small bubbles would form, especially on the edges. I would keep removing them and they'd keep reappearing. One window was covered in small dimples, the other had a lot of bubbles around the edges, and the 3rd looked ok except for a few spots.There's no possible way you could do a larger window or door and have it come out perfect. Even a tiny spec of dust is going to leave a bubble. This reminds me of the plastic screen protectors for cell phones that just never went on without some bubbles.In the end, the coating did the job and I don't really care about the bubbles since it's a basement. But just be aware you might want to have it done professionally if it's a window you look out of every day.

Glass film
This product worked very well for my application(bar cabinet doors) it was hard to get the surface completely free of dust which caused some bubbles..but it actually made it appear like old timey blown glass so it added character. The squeegee they sent scratched the first film so I switched to one I had
