I was thrilled to unwrap these lovely shoes. They are solid, but I have neuropathy and need a softer more comfy fit shoes. Sad but true. Most people might not be like me though, so I will not discount them. My toes get sore and sensitive easily.I love espadrilles; always have. Down to the looks of the textured upper, and then to the pretty, summery stitching around or above the lighter soles. I got a navy blue. I so want to wear them. I will try again on a day when my pain is decreased. Sometimes I can break in shoes like this. I have with other like shoes, due to the fact that they are made of a cloth. These are a bit thicker.These are extremely sturdy shoes with a lot of support. I would pay more for these. Maybe a half-size up will work for me better. It will not work for me if my right toe is constrained, or hitting the front of them. The left shoe felt fine.I can hardly express how great these shoes are; especially the aesthetic factor.Enjoy!

I really like these Marina Sneakers from Dearfoams. The inside is super cushy and comfortable. The quilted upper is comfortable, and I like the brown suede (not sure what material it is) looking strip that goes around the bottom. It makes the shoes more interesting. The only thing with these shoes is the fit, they feel quite a bit tighter than other shoes even from the same brand in the same size... but they do loosen up after breaking them in. I would say order your normal size but don't get too alarmed if they are just a little tight as they do break in. I think it's the stitching around the brown strip at the bottom that loosens up but not sure. Nice shoe, good price.

These shoes are very cute and very comfortable. The outer material is breathable and they don't get too hot. They have a lot of cushion in the sole and are comfortable. They also look great and I've gotten a lot of comments on them. They are a great tennis/athletic shoe feel that still looks good with jeans.My only complaint is that the insole isn't attached well to the shoe. Every single time I take them off, the insole comes out with them, so then you have to mess with it for a long time to get it back in in the right place. It has become super annoying - I'm about to just take some glue to it.

These are very comfortable to walk in but run just a little narrow. I received this product free and am leaving my honest review.

These Marina sneakers by Dearfoams have a cute, multi-textured top but too much bright white showing from the thick sole. I wish they had used an off-white or gray color so that they wouldn't look so dorky. The stitching around the navy top connects it with a band of brown and looks a little like a moccasin. The treads, while deep, can be slippery on a slick surface.These run small and somewhat narrow. If you have wide feet (I don't), don't bother because they hug medium-width feet. I wear between an 8.5 and a 9, depending on the brand, and I decided to get the larger size. At first, because I wore socks, I could not get these sneakers on, and when I finally did, my toes felt crunched. I then tried them on without socks. My toes came right up to the end -- on a 9! Despite that, the heels slip. I'm going to have to wear them with super-thin, no-show socks to prevent blisters. At least they have a good amount of cushion in the soles for comfort.I like the elastic area around the opening. I have a high in-step, and that allows the front of my foot to feel comfortable and not pinched or cut into.I love the styling on the navy top, with ribs running across the instep and the canvas fabric at the toes and heel. The navy elastic around the open provides yet another texture. But I'm not wild about the large stitches or the thick white sole.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
