Easy to fit, more robust than original factors and move around freely.

Used these to replace a set of broken castors on a sofa and the were easy to fit and worked perfectly, no excuse for not moving to hover anymore.

Straight swap

Two of the Shepherd castors broke on our sofa over Christmas - too much bouncing about by the kids I reckon - anyway, these were exact replacements and were very easy to fit, as soon as I had sorted out the difference between the left-handed and right-handed one. They arrived well -packaged and in good time.

These were used to replace some smaller wheels on a bed which we are now able to move much more easily over some carpet.

The new castors seem to be as the original ones with the Kenrick name cast into them. The old housings were easily prised out because the holes had enlarged. As someone else suggested, inserting slivers of wood ensured the new housings were tight when hammered in and a nail inserted. The new castors pushed home without too much effort so all fine and a great buy all round.
