well packed, great pole
used it to attach solar light for back yard pickle ball court....just be careful not to drill ground holes too deep, otherwise not enough purchase for all washers on bolts...poles withstood serious 65 mile wind guests...highly recommended.

It's a light pole!
Well it is a nice pole of good strength from the quality materials it is made up of. It went in pretty easy seeing an 18yr old did all the work. You will have to supply your lamp and solar panel. We have more than a couple around here now. We decided to go with one of the street light style that looks kinda rectanglish like a pizza spatula. It did ok but that needed to be higher so I went with the round ufo style and that worked perfectly. It is suitable for many types of lights but I think the super bright ones may need to be a bit higher than this pole is. Kudos!

Great Idea Very poor workmanship.
Like I said great idea, very poor welds, paint not covered all areas, the pic that shows the unit shows a chrome top, mine had a flat plastic plug. I realize its only $200.00 but the product should look like the pics on the amazon pages. Clean welds and nice paint.

Easy to install
I needed a pole to mount a solar powered light overlooking the midportion of our long driveway, where visitors sometimes have to park in the dark. I don't have a truck suitable to bring home a long enough pole from the DIY big box store nearby, plus getting the light up high on such a pole would present something of a challenge. This pole comes in sections, so mounting the light on the top section, then connecting each section in turn was a great solution. The pole is sturdy and easy to assemble. It does require that you mount the bottom section to a base, such as a cement footing, rather than setting it directly in a hole in the ground.

Seller shoulda opened, before selling
poor poor packaging from manufacturer. The white foam wasn’t taped to inner cardboard covering which allowed it to slide to the bottom if standing up, which then caused dents on the blue base top-lip by the sides of the cardboard box being set on hard floors/truck walls. Not a show stopper when the dents do expose a silver pipe. Top of box had hole as if one tube tried to escape. Can’t ask that much monies, if your manufacturer fails to pack the best they can, to stand by good quality. Will see how straight it is this weekend…
