Strong red light and wireless
I got this DGYAO New RC2 Cordless Red Light Therapy for Neck and Shoulders because I have incredibly tense shoulders and neck. I am a big fan of red light therapy and have a number of wraps bit none sits nicely on shoulders and could cover both shoulders at once. So I thought this is just what ! need. Well, yes, and no. Yes, it definitely covers my entire shoulders and neck... but it is a hassle to put it on in winter when I am wearing many layers of clothes, it;' not like I can just put this over my clothes. Once it is on it is a god product, it produces a very nice warmth and really help with easing the tension. This device is wireless so you can walk around carry out light duties while using it. It is rechargeable via USB-C, the cable and the USB wall charger is included. No storage pouch is included.

Great for shoulder and neck pain!
High quality infrared product, as are the others we have purchased from this company. This particular model is perfect for neck and shoulder pain, and has been very helpful for multiple family members. Positive benefits were noticed within the first week, and now over a month later I have seen significant improvement, we are very pleased. I was concerned it may be heavy or bunglesome to wear but it’s not, much lighter and more comfortable than I expected. It is wireless, which is very convenient, and is easy to charge. Highly recommended!

unique detachable power pack, very portable, but also very expensive
I have a few red-light therapy devices. All the shoulder devices need to be plug in to a wall plug to use. The cordless function made this device easier to use and move about the house without restriction. It is power by a unique magnetic power pack that attach to the red-light device wrap. The fully charged power pack can last about 6 treatment sessions on high output and depends on the length of the treatment and mode of treatment. The main red-light therapy wrap is similar to others where it has 660nm and 850nm emitters to produce red-light and near infrared light. The therapy wrap does work if you use it often enough. I can feel a little reduction on my shoulder pain due to work but only after 3-4 sessions. This device costs more than $200 at the time of the review. This may deter some of the buyer to look elsewhere.

Way Too Expensive & High EMFs in All but Full Power Mode
The media could not be loaded. This cordless shoulder and neck therapy device has some good things going for it. It has triple chip LED lights. The manual says that they are rated for 80 mW/cm² at 1 cm of distance. Using that, I was able to calculate that you would need about 62 minutes on high to get the proper dosing according to research studies. There are five levels of power, so 20% power to 100% power. Even though it states in the manual this is low EMF, the EMFs, according to my trifield meter, are off the charts in all but the highest intensity (100%}. In the intermittent mode, which is a great thing to have because the cycling makes the red light penetrate even more deeply into soft tissue, the readings were also off the charts, except in the highest intensity. The item itself is made of neoprene, and there is no smell. I wish there was a clear vinyl covering over the lights as that is easier to clean. It feels gently warm against the body. The magnetized, remote/power box sticks on very strongly, and it’s not easy to have it accidentally come off with a little nudge. Although there is no lock on the remote, it’s not easy to accidentally change the settings. I do feel this does work, but consistency is key. You will need to use it once or twice a day to help your issue, and it could take days two weeks to see a difference, but it will work. This is currently priced at $239, and there is a $15 coupon right now. That is way too expensive for how this functions and is packaged. It should come with much better instructions, a lab certification, for power output, a drawstring bag for storage, and a longer warranty. This is a very crowded field, and I would not go out of my way to purchase this. They should not report low, EMFs in their manual, when there are actually very high EMFs, except for the highest power setting.

Does what it's suppose to!
Seems to reduce inflammation in my neck and shoulders. I love the battery pack. Super happy with this product.

Nice wrap around neck design. Cool battery pack attachment.
I’ve tried a lot of red light devices over the past couple of years and this is a nice one. It can be worn while working around the house or while resting due to the easy to attach battery pack that is held on by magnets, which is super nice! It seems comparable in brightness to other light therapy devices on the market. I’ve tried it after straining with my neck working on stained glass, and I feel it has helped relieve the tension. I find red light therapy in general does a lot for pain relief and I do recommend it.This device has a “pulse” function, but this just flashes the lights on and off at varying speeds (it’s not a vibration setting). I don’t see the need for this setting and the research for it is quite mixed (with a lot of research showing it adds very little and a little research showing it adds just a little). To me, it just seems like a seizure setting.Aside from that trendy feature, which I just won’t use, this is a nice device. You can have either red/infrared, or just one or the other.Note my four-star review rating does not consider the price. I’ll leave that to the buyer, but I do think this is somewhat expensive for what it is. Consider whether you really need to be mobile when using red light before investing 240 dollars.

Works well
My husband is an infrared sauna devotee so I was excited to get this for him. He liked it. Said the heat was good and got a little bit of a sweat going after 20 minutes. Obviously it’s a long term health impact tool so I can’t say whether it does or does not make a health impact yet but at least in terms of the heat on the muscles it does.He does have tense muscles and didn’t immediately feel and relief as I think we had both maybe expected but the instructions say it can take a bit. It’s a little scary looking when on though. The red and then the big battery pack looks kind of sinister. So it’s not something I’d do in public!
