I love that Moon+Mercury is using Liposomes with their Vitamin C. supplements. Liposomes are natural fats derived from sunflower and palm oils which act as part of the Vitamin C delivery system to make it more absorbable. I've seen many other supplements which include BioPerine (black pepper extract) in their supplements to enhance absorption. I can't seem to get those supplements past my nose that picks up the smell of an abundance of pepper! My stomach also usually reacts to that much pepper! This Vitamin C is a smaller 500 mg capsule and easier to swallow. No burning or digestive distress. At 1000mg per serving that gets you a 30 day supply for a modest cost. I love that they are trying to be innovative in their other formulas while following the science of natural medicines. What's missing is transparency about the company, who they are and where they are. They have a small address in the USA on the label and an email for communication. Overall, I like their products and this innovative Vitamin C especially, but I hesitate to recommend this brand until I know more about them.

Because vitamins & supplements are not closely regulated it’s difficult to gauge the effectiveness of one brand versus another. All I can attest to is that my experience with this brand of Vitamin C had no ill effects and that the price point is a bit on the high side.

I am new to liposomal supplements. I am under the impression that they are more efficient and easier to absorb into our systems. This product has less percentage of other Vitamin C products I have taken before, but perhaps the liposomal delivery to the body requires less milligrams to do the work? I hope to learn more about this. Size wide, these capsules are medium big size, but still relatively easy to swallow. A dose is two capsules, to which I wish it was only one as I am running out of space in my daily pill case! Been taking this for about a week. I am not feeling any particular benefit or effect, but I do know that vitamin C is beneficial.
