The Half Hunter case for the case is a bit rough around the edges but acceptable considering the price. The compass again isn't of the highest quality but again perfectly satisfactory for basic navigation.A clever little compass that will delight an adventurous young boy or girl. You will need to find a presentable case if giving it as a gift

For a compass that's not liquid filled it is amazingly stable 👌
