Worked fine with gen3 pcie NVMe in an H12SSL-i
Used this for a while for 2 drives in my proxmox server with the 10Gtek 12G Internal Mini SAS SFF-8643 to U.2 SFF-8639 NVMe SSD Cable and 2 Intel P4510 drives. Worked fine (you do need bifurcation in your bios), ended up sidegrading to the DiliVing SlimSAS 8X to 2*U.2 NVMe Adapter cable which interfaces with the SlimSAS slot on the motherboard to free up the PCIE slot but if you don't have a SlimSAS connection on your motherboard and have bifurcation and want to use U.2 this card/cable combo is an option, not sure it will work with Gen4 drives though so ymmv on that one.
