Works well garden looking flatter and well worth price.

Very good and option to fill with water or sand and especially important when new grass laid with turf as here since 1986 and needed to flatten the turf after weeks and plenty of rain and our old roller had failed after many years of usage.

Good value roller simple to construct and heavy enough to roll standard lawn! Do not be tempted to buy the small cheaper one it simple IMO not heavy enough to be any use!

This costway garden roller is simple to put together, it has the weight to compress the lawn and mole hillsI have been using this in January February and it is just as excellent as I had hoped it would be, well made very sturdy, would definitely buy another one, highly recommend

Woeful pile of junk. The handle cuts were out of line and even full of water it's light enough to pick up. As soon as the water has finished leaking out of the drum I'll be putting it out from to have the scrap men collect as I cannot return it now. Water leaks out of the hub that the handle connects to. Honestly, for £80 this is an utter piece of junk, avoid.

Easy to assemble.Wide roller & not too difficult to push/pull when filled with water, would be difficult if not used on a flatish surface.

Very happy with the build quality and value for money. My only issue was that the hole to fill with ballast is pretty small so took me an hour and a half to fill it will bags of sand from the builders merchants which is damp sand so will not funnel/pour in. Once ready to use has been all good.

As a product this is good. It works well and as it is wider than most rollers is suited to larger domestic gardens.The product arrived promptly earlier than expected and that was good news as I wanted to use it before the change in weather.I did have problems with assembly.1. One of the holes was not drilled fully through both sides of the tubing used to make the brace. I did not want to return the product as I needed to use it so I drilled the hole through myself.2. It looks like in the manufacturing process the holes are drilled first and then the tubes are bent to shape. The handle holes ended up slightly out of alignments so it was not possible to insert the bolt supplied to attach one side of the handle to the brace. Fortunately as a engineer I had the skills and tools to correct this also!As a personal preference I would make some improvements to this product. I doubled up on the number of washers supplied so I could have one under the head of the bold and the other under the nut. I would also add extra washers to the drum so that the forks of the brace do not scratch the drum and use the supplied washer before fitting the cotter pin. I would also supply a small tube of grease so that this can be added to the drum spindles to reduce wear in use.
