Cute but Sizes are inaccurate

Short for a dachshund body, but easy to put on
This is the 3rd harness we've tried for our 19-pound doxie mix. Despite his 12" neck and 20" chest, the medium was too big and we had to go with the small. Still, the proportions were not perfect for a long body...the connector strip down the back from the neck to the chest straps isn't long enough, pulling and causing the top of the neck strap to curl under. Ultimately it became uncomfortable for our dog so I opened and extended the connector strip at the back loop where it was 4 layers thick and sewed it at a still adequate 2 layers thick an inch longer. Fit problem solved! It was worth the work because the extra neck strap buckle lets you put this harness on without having to pull it over the head (or make the dog step in). I wish it would have had more durable metal buckles because the plastic ones are cheap and sometimes hard to latch.

Wanted to like better
Would be great if clips literally didn’t get stuck in each other.
