First, I followed the sizing chart and unfortunately, the shorts were very uncomfortable.5'9, 150#, slender/athletic build, age 49.What happened was they pushed any extra skin/love handles up to give me excess above the top of the shorts. Because it went so high up, it felt uncomfortable (squeezing me). The silicone at the top was okay. I was worried it would pinch, pull or be annoying - it wasn't.As for shape ware, it actually made my booty flat and unflattering. So it didn't work for me. If I was wearing a tight shirt, pants or dress, I can see where these will smooth your business out. I didn't find flattering, comfortable or working for me.I really wanted these to work since I've never had and they seem to be popular. Just because they didn't work for me doesn't mean they are a horrible product. I'm taking one star away because the sizing isn't accurate for me and because the smell of the product. They smelled like rubbing alcohol / chemically. I'm sure after washing they would be fine, but I don't know because, sadly, I had to return.

You can definitely tell that I'm wearing them under pants. They fit great at the waist and have a lot of control but I could see the lines on my thighs because they were too tight and rolled up on my thighs. I definitely will be wearing it with a dress though but since I wasn't able to wear them with pants then I really can't say if they will roll up around the waist or not yet.
