I am a skincare junkie. I love everything about skincare and my routine is long and different depending on the day or time of day. I had tried a few lesser expensive essences and had determined there was nothing going on. I received a deluxe sample size of this (enough for a month of 2x/day use). I stand corrected. This has changed the texture and eveness of my skin like nothing I have ever tried before. I am now a firm believer in the essence step. For those wondering, it goes between your toner and your first serum. You pour a few drops into your clean hands and press it into your skin. Make sure to allow each step time to absorb before moving on to the next product. I can't speak to whether this is the only essence that has impact, but nothing I tried under $100 had any impact at all.

At first I thought it felt like I was just putting expensive water on my face. Unlike another green tea toner I've tried before, this doesn't have a strong green tea scent either. But with twice daily use for the past several weeks, my skin does feel softer and looks smoother with less clogged pores. This was without changing any other product in my routine. I have extremely sensitive skin but my skin seems to love this product.

Definitely fits its description “essence” as it is incredibly light on the skin. The bottle looks aesthetically pleasing but as for functionality I can’t really tell ya if it’s made a huge difference on my skin. I still use it though right before my facial moisturizer on my face and neck in hopes that it is making some difference, at least it hasn’t made me break out.

This formula is amazing! Light watery texture with body, no scent, but the difference it makes in my skin it truly remarkable!
