At first, this silicone griddle cover felt like the culinary equivalent of a secret weapon—like I was about to level up my post-cook cleanup game and ascend to Griddle Guru status.And to be fair—it does work. It fits well, seals the top nicely, and keeps dust, bugs, and rogue leaves from hosting a barbecue on my griddle overnight. But here’s the rub (and oh, there was a lot of rubbing): once you take it off, it’s like wrestling a greasy, floppy octopus.After a few uses, I found myself dreading the whole ordeal. You can’t just fold it up or throw it in the sink without feeling like you’ve started an oil spill. It became less “handy cover” and more “grease-slick rubber chaos.”Eventually, I waved the white (paper) flag and switched to a roll of extra-wide parchment paper that fits my griddle like it was tailor-made. I just peel it off and toss it like a kitchen ninja. Zero mess. Zero regrets.Final Verdict: The silicone cover does the job—it’s just not the job I want to do. Great in theory, but I’ve retired mine to the cabinet of good intentions.

Good grill cover for Blackstone grill
My husband likes the grill cover. It does a great job of keeping the dust off his Blackstone grill. Seems to be very durable.

Great quality!
We live in Arizona and while we don’t have to worry about rodents or any other animals getting on our Blackstone top, it does help to prevent it from getting dirty, especially when we get our dust storms. I’m not sure how heat resistant it actually is because we generally wait until our Blackstone has completely cool before putting it back on, but it is easy to clean and has held up really well.

It doesn't fit very well. IT covers the griddle but I expected a tight fit and it simply isnt.
