MerrellOakcreek mens Hiking Shoe

I've been a fan of Merrell boots and shoes for a long time, and these do not disappoint. Got them to be the light hikers I treat well (as opposed to the ones I wear all over concrete and asphalt).For me, with a narrow foot, they're really comfy and supportive.Also, I love the sure-footedness of all of my Merrells. This is a boot where the grip exceeds your nerve on things like a wet, tilted, rock. I've never slipped and fallen in a Merrell boot.

I really liked these shoes when they arrived. I immediately hiked in the Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico, and they were comfortable and sturdy. However, in less than two months, one of the eyelet loops failed. I was not abusing the shoes or anything like that. The loop just separated from the shoe.

I bought them for my work use and I don't regret it, the material they are made of allows me to walk safely. My work consists of open space, when it rains I keep using them because they dry quickly inside. I love them

I read the reviews saying these run small. NOT TRUE. I ordered 9.5W when I wear a 9.0EW. They do not run SHORT. I wish I would have ordered a 9.0W.The Toe Box fits like a wide would fit. Though I prefer and EW.The Length fits like it would for that size.Runs a little deep in the heal meaning my foot sits deeper in the shoe than I would expect out of a low rise shoe.
