Great-I used them to install my A/C disconnect box.
Okay, I'm using two of these "not as intended."After my home was nicely resided, I wanted a clean look to getting the 220v cable from the A/C disconnect box into my house. Nothingexists currently, except drill a hole, pull the cable through it, slap on a bunch of silicone.Instead I used a Carlton PVC type L junction box with a 3/4" stub into and out of it. With a small amount of sandingthese slip bulkhead nuts fit on the stubs and are easily cemented in place using PVC grey cement. Then one goes into the metal disconnect box, and you tighten it down (washer provides watertight seal). The other one goes into the hole through my new Hardie siding. The nut secures it inside (drywall isn't up yet), and again thewasher provides a seal.Someone should market this.It looks professional and I'm sure will last longer than me.

Work great
I used these to build a canister filter out of a 5-gallon bucket and they work 100% better than uniseals. I'll stick with these bulkhead fittings from now on. The holes I drilled in the plastic buckets were a little wobbly so I added some silicone sealant before tightening, and there are no leaks. 3/4" slip bulkhead fittings worked with 3/4" PVC pipe just fine.

Works fine.
Worked fine, once I purchased another one that was a bit smaller. I forgot to account for the outside diameter being another 3/8" wider than the OD of the PVC pipe. Both items where adequate in there construction and materials.

No clue how these are really to be used.
I use these bulkhead connectors to run electrical wires and hydraulic lines through structural steel on dump trailers and they work great for this use. They protect the wires and lines from being cut. I drill out the center since they have a little ridge in the middle which keeps a #6 JIC and 3/8 line from passing through. Dewalt makes a small hole saw for the impact driver that works great for reaming out center. Thanks Amazon.

Great to Build the BADest Rain Barrel in town
Got this to use in a rain barrel build. Worked great. I like this 3/4 better than the 1/2 version on my last barrel, The 3/4 had a much better flow rate, especially once the barrel starts to get empty. Hole is about 1.25" and I installed with about half CC of silicone caulking from a squeeze tube. No leaks and working great in hot Texas sun. Used two, One at the bottom and a second right at the top edge for an overflow.

Useful in a bucket
Works well for my bucket that's used as a reservoir for my chicken watering system.

Great
Great fitting. I'm a pipe fitter so i use a million fitting and this one is standard. I don't understand why people complain. No need for a second gasket, it is water proof just hand tight. (hint : the gasket do not go on the nut side)

Creats a good seal
Installs easy, creates a good seal on plastic water storage barrel. Spigot screws in easily. As with all plumbing you should use teflon tape on threads to create the best possible seal.

Not the good size
The size is wrong.... I had to figure out something to make my pipes fit whit it. Exept that, look strong and good quality.
