Perfect! But may not be for everyone.
I am using it to cover a medical patch that I cant soak in the water in the shower but getting it a little wet is okay. Some people say it doesn't stay dry. I have to do allergy testing. But it has to stay 100% dry. The reason you cant use this if you are not allowed to take a shower because of surgery which I have been through is your skin sweats under the patch. It is the only product so far that works but if it is wet its not the patch not working it is your skin sweating because there are no holes to allow it to breathe because it allows your skin to stray dry.So it works but your skin will sweat which might not work for some people and you have to suck it up like I did when I could not take a shower. But it really works. I highly recommend it for people with medical patches!

Perfect wound care
I ordered this product for wound care after abdominal surgery. It worked exactly as advertised. I would place the covering over the wound bandage to keep the area dry. The product was the perfect size and was easy to apply and remove. After showering I could then redress the wound area in a dry and protected area. I am now ready for my second order.

Works Well, however, not large enough for a catheter
This product worked fine, however, the person that I purchased it for was using it to cover their catheter on their chest. The area that covered the catheter was not large enough and the product stuck to the catheter. We also purchases 7"x7" dressing protectors that worked much better for the catheter cover. I don't think that this product was made to cover a catheter, and is not advertised as doing so, therefore, I give it 5 starts, because it works great. Just wanted to write this review for anyone considering purchasing this to cover a catheter - look for something larger! :)

Worst return policy ever
I purchased several of these seal packs because I was having several minor surgeries that needed to be covered. The first one I tried did not work so I asked for a refund. They only refunded me 30 of the 60 dollars I paid and told me there was some bs restocking fee. I returned all of the boxes and the one only had one used. Such a rip off. I would never buy anything from them again because you can't return it without them taking half of your money and then making double selling it again.

Not very comfortable
I had hip surgery and this product covered the area just fine. I used all five patches over a span of 5 days. Also very sticky. The adhesive bothered my skin on the areas making it itchy and red. Also hurt in the areas where I could not lay the adhesive flat. There is not adhesive in the middle, just along the edges. I had to change my dressing more often because if this due to the condensation build up. Not a bad product for short time use but would not recommend if you have stitches.

Absolute Necessity for Getting in the Water.
One thing is certain; I really wish my hospital carried the Brownmed SEAL-TIGHT Shield Dressing Protectors while I was still in the hospital. A few days before my discharge, I was up and about, but because of the surgical wound on my abdomen, taking a shower was next to impossible. When I insisted on some means of protection so that I could take a shower, the nursing staff could only come up with taping some plastic bags to my stomach. Needless to say, that did not work. The Brownmed protector dressings probably work 100% on flat surfaces of the body. Where the flesh is softer, there might be a slight gap noticeable when you come out of the shower, but mostly, these work very well.

Excellent Product
The skin protectors work. They protect the affected area and the seal is not broken until you remove them yourself. My only complaint is the way they are packaged for shipment. The box they come is very soft so they need to be packaged in a shipping box not a paper envelope to prevent them from being damaged during shipment. It a good feeling to receive them and they are loose in the paper envelope !

Works great until you get it wet... isn't that what it's for?
In a hot shower, it comes unglued. Not very good for something you put on to keep a wound dry.It might be because I like a hot shower but it shouldn't matter. It comes off.Another product I tried also came off but was incredibly difficult to remove completely. If I had any ONE NICE THING TO SAY ABOUT THIS PRODUCT, it would be that it was easy to remove. I also liked how thin it is. But since it comes off in the hot water, it's totally useless.
