Lacis Cord Maker and Fringe Twister Ii 2-4 Ply, Acrylic, Multicolour, 8.25x8.25x24.13 cm

I am very pleased with this item. I make cords for split-ply braiding and have been previously been making the cords using a hand mixer. This cord maker makes the process so much easier and quicker and the cords are much better quality.It arrived about 2 weeks early which I was thrilled about because it meant it arrived in time for me to take on holiday with me. One thing I will say is that be careful where you put it down as it is prone to rolling off a kitchen counter. This happened to me when I first used it and it fell onto the hard kitchen floor. I was heartbroken - BUT it still works! Guess you can say it quite robust!

Not as powerful as I had hoped, but still useful

Used for 1st time and one of the hooks has fallen out. The plastic is split so now I can only use 3 of the 4 hooks. Seems very cheaply made although not cheap to buy. I did manage to make a 2 thread cord(3rd cord came out of hook) and am sure that if it hadn’t broken I would have been able, with a bit of practice, to make a professional looking thicker cord. Doubt if I’ll use it again.

I was hoping to make nice cords with this device but the results are disappointing. It can only make loosely spun cord of somewhat uneven graduation..

It does what it claims - in my case twisting up the warp fringe on a woven scarf - I would say OK for your own craft jobs but does not feel robust enough for groups or classes.

I'm using cords to weave straps for bags, and this is perfect, much easier than trying to do it any other way. Worth the money.

Threads slip out during twisting and I would not say it is worth the money. I brought it a while ago now and just haven't finished twisting the lengths of a scarf yet because I do not get good and consistent results each time.

Poorly made broke after one use. Battery usage +++++++
