Bought this for my husband. It's been a great laptop as expected with Dell. It's lightweight and a smaller frame than my old Dell that I've been using since 2019, but both are 15.5 Inspirion. I purchased this knowing it wasn't a touchscreen, but my husband preferred that it wasn't. This computer has all the ram, processing speed, and more than enough memory. Extraordinary value!

I purchased this laptop computer In the fall of 2023. I ordered the version that was configured with 64 gig of memory, 1 TB NVME drive, and Windows 11 Home. I Immediately upgraded Windows 11 from Family to Professional. I am a university professor, and I use this computer for lecturing and developing/delivering PowerPoints and audio /video presentations, research, streaming, and various other tasks. I also use Dragon Professional digital voice dictation software. The computer functions with adequate speed and Processing power even on resource-intensive apps. The machine is able to easily run multiple tasks simultaneously. I note that the reviews on Amazon for this product have been variable, but my experience has been positive. The design of the computer is quite lightweight, very bright and crisp screen and clean/minimalistic design. It lacks USB C ports but has 3 standard, high speed, USB ports, as well as a card reader. I have not had any concerns with processing speed (i-7 12th gen processor), and no concerns with reliability or overheating, as some users have reported In their reviews. At the time I am writing this review (April 2025), the computer is selling for approximately $150 less than I paid for mine in 2023!

Very SLOW computer. I don't know what it is but this computer is slow to respond and will sometimes SHUT DOWN unexpectedly. I think that it has something to do with overheating because I never hear the fan come on. This was a disappointing purchase that I wish I could return.

RECEIVED ON TIME AND UP AND RUNNING AS EXPECTED. NICE TO HAVE A KEYBOARD AND THINGS ARE UP AND RUNNING AS EXPECTED. PRICE WAS RIGHT AND WE FEEL WE GOT A GOOD DEAL.

After having my previous Dell for over a decade it was definitely time to upgrade. I stuck with Dell because I had a great experience before. I find this laptop to be so lightweight! It is very easy to use and carry around. The system is fast and reliable as well.

This laptop doesn't work right. The day I received it I contacted the seller because it immediately overheated and shut-off and wouldn't come back on for several hours. Seller told me it needed a software patch download which I did hours later after it finally cooled down enough to come on again. I eventually gave up trying to get help from them. I have put up with its problems since day 1. Overheats constantly, battery cord won't make contact so doesn't charge so have to keep plugging in and pulling out until it finally connects. Can't leave on in sleep mode, have to shut down completely every 2-3 hours or overheats and locks up for hours. The slots don't work. Sound quit working 3 months ago. Every time you start it get message that you are using the wrong battery power cord--using the one it came with. Very sad when I paid almost $800 for this last year. Yesterday it went dead. Today I bought a new HP laptop

Runs a little hot but overall not a bad laptop I can do my schoolwork pretty well which is a must for me.
