Great and strong

Excellent quality, sturdy, easy assembled, good size for our needs, 2 adults, 1 dog. I like the look of it, sleek looking, wire nice and taut.

If you are elderly or not very strong I would look for a smaller type. My wife and I fornd it very hard to get into the ground (which may well be our ground, but none the less....), and as I headlined, it is very heavy and cumbersome, but it's up and so far so good....! Sadly after only 10 days in the ground it has completely fallen over. In all honesty this is probably due to it being set in grass. It is just too big and heavy and will need some kind of concrete to keep it upright - I think...I will advise! ------30 Oct 2022 ----- I have finally got it in the ground and, I believe, stable and permanent. However, It should be plainer here, that if you are only able to erect in/on grass you will definitly need a Washing Line Spike, which needs to be purchased separatley, and are available from Amazon. They are quite cheap and with hammering (with block of wood on top) goes deep into grass and will work. Without one? Don't bother. This is just to heavy and big. And...Concrete??? Come on. Honestly? perhaps we should have gone for a lighter, smaller dryer, but that's life!

Having a back yard laid entirely of flagstone, I bought this rotary specifically to fit into my existing parasol base, which it does very nicely. The inside diameter of the base is probably 42mm and I struggled to find either a line post or a rotary slim enough to fit it. So, to some extent, this was Hobson's choice being the only thing I could find below about 50mm; though I was happy to buy quay and glad I did. With an upright pole of 35mm it is more than a comfortable fit, and a bracket in the base allows us to tighten it up. Apart from being able to move the line to wherever I want, fitting it like this means I have control over its rotation (this basic rotary is not designed to rotate, except due to its fit within its holder), to make life a bit easier when hanging the washing up. We have a very heavy/sturdy base, but still the whole thing has toppled in high winds. I've mitigated this by hanging the heaviest items towards the middle, and then stopped it entirely by feeding the rotary upright through the hole in the picnic table with the base underneath. I was worried that by not sinking into the ground it would be too high for me to load clothes onto, but I can reach all of it perfectly well (I and 5'4").On the product itself, it is very light to carry to and from its place of use and it opens and closes seemlessly. There is more hanging space than I feel I could ever need (so far, never more than 2/3 full and that's without using all of the adjacent lines to give items more air room). The quality could not be better and the product arrived quickly. Good value, in my view.A great alternative to a fixed/retractable line, which has allowed us to avoid drilling holes into our walls or digging a hole.

I like the amount of washing I can put on this but it is quite difficult to put up and down.

Three sided airer, ideal for small area. Not good if putting on grass as the sleeve that you put the airer into is a only about 6 to 8 inches and made of quite thin plastic. I used postcrete to fix it in place in the edge of a paving stone, so is very solid.
