Great little mixer, bought to replace 20 year old that had packed up. The new model is even better than the old one.

Having had excellent service for 20 years from a petrol driven Belle, which I have now passed on to a family member, I decided to buy a Belle 150 electric Mini Mix. The new machine arrived within a few days of my order. After about a couple of hours of intermittent use with fairly light mixture loads, it started shedding the toothed drive belt. The belt worked along the small drive cog, pushing the retaining washer and spring washer along the shaft until it slipped off the cog. After replacing the belt several times, with the problem persisting, I noticed a hairline split on the retaining spring washer. Phoned Belle warranty department and received an excellent and courteous response. The spring washer was replaced in less than 24 hours along with a spare cog, retaining washer and drive belt. A really first class customer service by Belle. So far, since then, the machine has worked fine and I am hoping that the split washer was a one off, probably due to a manufacturing fault.The Min Mix 150 is a very robustly constructed machine, easy to manoeuver and I am particularly impressed by the redesigned stand which is much easier to use than earlier models. Altogether a very useful machine for the DIY enthusiast.

This is a review from my husband ,Cheap crap all tradesmen I know are saying the same , not built like they use to when they I had my first lasted about 18 years , last 18 years had 4 and everyone the drive shaft has sheared off inside the drum so can’t get them out means a new drum £200 and new gearbox with drive shaft £120 , one belle mixer we had broke within the warranty period so was fixed this is the mixer we use all the time now but had to buy lots of other spares , while this was being repaired we bought another belle mixer this was in 2020 in 30 months we have owned it have used it for probably 30/40 days if that, it’s owe back up , stays in the van & today we went to use it as we was putting it together , drum fell off drive shaft snapped , that’s 3 mixers , as I said cheap crap even hire company that I’ve bought them from said the same , cheap crap , we are renderers/ pebbledashers
