This is the second patient lift we bought after seeing it on Amazon. We ordered a second for our vacation home. They are well built and easy to use. We have an adult daughter who is not mobie and needs tobe lifted out of bed to a wheelchair. When we were younger it wasn't a big problem but now we find it very difficult. Tried a Hoyer Hydraulic lift but our daughter was very uncomfortable it it and was cumbersome to operate. This is battery operated and easy to use. It is portable and can fit in a trunk of a car if you need to, but beacuse it needed to be sturdy it is heavy. The only improvement would be if the numbers on the sling and support arms come prelabled. We did this with a lablemaker on the sling andon the support arms. This makes attachment of the sling much faster and easier. Had a question of the vendor and contacted them on the amazon inquiry page and they answered in a timely manner.

Easy to put together- great device- unfortunately, front bar on left floor beam was made at an upward curve which prevents the wheel from touching the floor. It should be straight like the one on right front. We are returning and hoping to exchange one correctly made.

I would like to ask for a new set of wheels as the bolt and screws are stripped and do not catch and secure properly.

This is a product for an individual who is not heavy - some one light weight, and its one of the reasons as to why we chose this. The overall weight is managable for portability however, the lift points are not favourable to any person let alone an older individual. One needs help to put it together - and although the set up is so simple, the instructions were unnessesarily cumbersome - not laid out simply and clearly in English. The width for clearence bearly made it 24".. The seat contraption needs re-engineering in that the patient seems to be hunched over with backside protruding out and down in an uncomfortable position - one feels the patient can slide out on ones bottom and therfore we felt the transfer needed to be made quickly to avoid sliding out. A better seat most definitley would have made this a four star product. The overal funtionality of this device is very advantagoues in that one can perform just as the instruction video claims, a bed transfer, and a transfer to the shower as long the can be a better seat, and the floor and shower base are on a plane surface - transfering an individual to the front seat of a verhicle has still not been attempted by us, but I think it will work with a bit of effort. The folding up and placing in the trunk of a vehicle seemed a bit too seamless in the instruction video- when it was folded up, just carrying it aside was cumbersome to an able bodied person - it would have been benificial to have two grab bars in order to stand it up as well as or loading up in a vehicle.

Easy assembly, great communication with seller, fast delivery. My husband tried to use a Hoyer type transfer unit but it was uncomfortable and was hard for me to maneuver. This chair is very well made. The solid hard cushion with the soft padding and the soft toilet seat do not dig into my husband’s very sensitive skin, like the sling used on other products. We have only had it for a couple of days but it has already made transfers safer and my husband feels secure while transferring. This chair is a godsend.

Custo. Cannot contact seller Auvkmuymer support not helpful. Issue was supposed to be settled however email was returned as undeliverable.

Hope we figure this out safely! It may have to go back. Would be nice to have step by step instructions or a video! Hard to rate if you're not sure if you put it together right!!
