We bought this for our caravan to enjoy different coffee and hot chocolate. Nice compact size and the drinks are very flavoursome. We have tried several but our favourite is the Cafe au Lait Intenso. Very simple to use with almost no set up required. Just switch on, pop in the pod, select strength and volume and press start. Auto shut off so no need to stand over the machine.

This is a nice compact coffee machine, just the right size and makes lovely coffee. It is easy to use. Would recommend.

Good little machine and has to be said it makes nice coffee...However the tall glasses we used with our previous machine will not fit sadly....And after a few months of use the 'descale light' started to come on, we never had this with our previous machine after years of use, so not sure if that's due to the machines being more technical, or a ruse to get you to buy descaler as water and limescale isn't usually a problem in our area but will need consideration if your area is!If you want to make more than 2 large cups a time then a bigger capacity machine is needed or you have to refill every 2 large cups.

Best investment which I have brought in a long time. It is easy to set up clear instructions and easy to clear. I prefer the colour goes well with kitchen cupboard and it's awesome to have so many variety of capsules

Perfect! Exactly what I wanted makes great coffee and a great cheap deal with the coffee included! It’s small and fits perfectly on my desk for quick coffee between meetings!

We have been using a De Longhi Melody 3 Dolce Gusto coffee maker for about ten years. We bought this to replace it after the pump failed (and before I figured out how to fix it) as the Genio S is the closest in functionality. It is smaller (more compact) but has essentially the same controls. It works really well and makes great coffee. The controls are slightly more fiddly - the "start" button requires quite a firm press and is made of soft plastic that feels like it might not last 10 years. The lever for pushing the water nozzle into the pods seems more flimsy but the action is actually easier and punctures the foil cap on the pods with less effort. The water container is also smaller, though plenty large enough for two large cups of coffee, but more difficult to re-attach than its predecessor. I always thought the Melody 3 was a very well made machine, and I think the Genio S has made some improvements and a couple of steps backwards. I can't see any reason to go for the higher spec Genio S + or Genio S Touch - overall this is a very good machine and very good value at the price we paid for it.
