This is a nice heavy vase, and it is as it appears in the photo, but I was hoping it was better than the photo. It isn't.

Without light shining directly through this item, it really looks almost black.I love cobalt blue glass, but this just doesn't do a great job of showing that color off.

I'm nominating this lovely, beveled vase for the Most Unlikely to EVER Tip Over Award! The fact that it's substantially solid and heavy also means that it's not going to be easily broken. So if you order this vase, expect it to be around awhile.The seller also took great care to package the product. Inside the box it arrived in was a very interesting, cocoon-like, cylinder-shaped bubble wrap which obviously protected it well.The red color is definitely going to warm up the place for the Christmas holidays, and then again on Valentine's Day. The color appears to have a bit of blue mixed in, so it's more on the burgundy side as opposed to bright, shiny red. It's still quite pretty, though, and will look very nice with a fresh bouquet of flowers. At just under 9 inches tall, shorter-stemmed flowers will work best.I think you'll like this one. It's nice for the price, and just nice, period!

Cheap, red started flaking off after a few weeks

I ordered this for my wife. She loves it. It is a very thick glass and is vibrantly infused with red. We find it very pretty and high quality.
