Does not work with WF-7840
Although the item says it will work with Workforce WF-7840. My experience is a disappointing one. When the cartridge is inserted into the printer, and the printer starts the cartridge detect cycle. The printer produces an error message to the effect un recognised cartridge. It does not give any options such as OK or Next. Restarting the printer just comes up with the red light printer error.

Non-OEM - Epson 405XL black ink cartridges
Well packaged, in a slim cardboard box. With each of the three Black ink cartridges vacuum sealed.Installed perfectly fine with the Workforce Pro WF-3820. Printed just as well. You may find the printer recognising them as Non-OEM. But Epson printers allow you to use them.Nice little touch with the disposable gloves, if you need them and handy little set of install instructions.No issues, simple straight forward. Very well priced (at the time £25.99) given an original 405XL can be up to £35 for one cartridge. And you get three with this pack.

Three Black Cartridges - Great Print Results
ℹ️ Epson Compatible Printer Cartridges - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️These Epson 405XL compatible ink cartridges are well made. My printer recognised the cartridges without any issues. The quality of the print outs is every bit as good as the originals from Epson. The only difference is the purchase price. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Product did not print properly. It may be cheap for 3 cartridges but I would not recommend
