This product was very easy to use and worked so well! Had my guests not helped and seen me making the sausages they never would have known they weren't store bought! The casings had no noticeable flavor, but had a great normal texture/snap when grilled.The casing did smell when I opened the package, but other than that no noticeable smell either

easy to use, and this was our first attempt at sausage.(remember to give yourself extra between sausages so you can tie it off as you go.) It makes a normal sized sausage if that helps. strong when making it, but after its cooked no issues eating it. best of luck!

Love these sausages! They have a great snap, excellent spice blend, and a firm texture. Perfect for snacking or with cheese and wine. Highly recommend! I give it 4 star because of increased price over years!

Over all I felt like this product is solid great for beginners. Packaging was a little sketch as it came with no English instructions had to look at description for instructions. Literally just soak in water for a few minutes they ready to use. Held up good on the grill

It smells horrible. I had to throw it away because the smell of it was so bad.

So, this is my first time around making sausage. I did my due diligence on soaking the “skins” in warm water for 20 minutes while getting other stuff ready. Durability-wise it’s good. I only had one small tear while stuffing and it was because I pin poked an air pocket then over stuffed it. I tried cooking with the skins and it’s less like collagen and more like cellulose and after that trial, now we just skin all of the sausage before cooking. Smell-wise, it’s the worst. It literally smells EXACTLY like Murphy’s Oil Soap!! Mild smell out of the package when dry but once fully hydrated, it reeked just like the soap. I washed my skins several times (6) and they still smelled like Murphy’s. I added a drop of dawn liquid to a medium bowl of hot water and poured into the skins as well as soaking again for 10 minutes and then rinsing several more times and it finally got the smell out. I’ll finish using the rest of course but will try a different brand next time.

These are the best casings ever. My previous experience with collagen casing was bad at best. I do like natural casings but these are much easier to use. Smooth feeding and no splits. You will like these.

Had no Issues at all. Do NOT Soak. These are collagen not Natural Hog Casings. Made about 8lbs with my Hakka. Worked perfectly. Cooked up a batch, very tender. I will order more.
