Works for replacing gasket on Aldi Kamado
My old gasket had worn away in parts so I bought this to replace it. So far so good, you do need to ensure you get rid of the old one and the surface is clean before applying but seems to stick well. Pretty much a like for like replacement.

Does not stick
The media could not be loaded. despite thoroughly scraping and cleaning my Big Green Egg, this gasket is extremely poor quality and does not stick to the ceramic.

Not sticky!
Only first metre or so was sticky, rest of it wouldn't stick to anything. The smoker/bbq was degreased as well. Big disappointment especially as I bought a more expensive one thinking it would be better quality. I was wrong! The tape is thin and no way of 'layering' it around the lid to improve the seal in certain areas.
