Nice Trimmer
Works really well and battery lasts a good while between charging. Adjustment for beard length is very accurate.

No gent should be without it
My previous Braun shaver had a rotary dial to change shave length which was positioned where you tended to put your hand. As a result, I found that I invariably knocked it mid shave and then ended up having to reshave at often, a new shorter length. No, not ideal and a sub optimal situation for any dapper, time poor gent to find themselves in.I thought I'd give this trimmer a go to see if it might perform better in this area and I can confirm dear reader, it does.In summary this shaver feels like the Aston Martin of shavers. The motor is confident and oozes power, the battery warning system is simple but effective and the shaver trims like a pro. I also now don't end up spending time re trimming and ending up with a beard length that wasn't to my liking.Happy? Yes sir!

It's good and I like it, but I'm not sure it's twice as good as trimmers costing half as much
This beard trimmer is well made, charges quickly, holds charge so that it trims effectively when when the battery's getting empty, cuts beard hairs smoothly without pulling or catching, can be rinsed under the tap and is a pretty nifty piece of kit - but though it's two or three times the price of some other beard trimmers, it isn't two or three times as good. For that reason if I were you I'd have a look at some cheaper models, either from Panasonic or other manufacturers, before you commit to buying this.I would have bought the Panasonic ER-GB80 but I'd been given some Amazon vouchers for my birthday and was feeling flush, so I went for this. I don't regret buying it, but without those Amazon vouchers I wouldn't have bought it and I'm not sure that this beard trimmer, at twice the price, is twice as good. It does most of what the manufacturer promises in the description but it doesn't lift and cut the awkward hairs I have on my cheeks, it's no better than my previous cheap Remington at dealing with the beard hairs under my bottom lip and even though you can rinse the trimmer under the tap when you're done, that won't shift all the hairs that have collected around the cutting blades and I spend just as long, or perhaps a bit longer, cleaning this as I did cleaning my old trimmer. That said, it *is* a good trimmer. It fits easily into my hand, the wide blade does get more hair in one sweep than my older, narrower, trimmer, the charge indicator is a great help, it charges from empty to full in an hour and the range and ease of adjustment of the length of the trim is excellent. Now that I have it I wouldn't wish to be without it but in truth, with just my own money I'd have bought something else. So from me it's a recommendation, but with an important caveat: it isn't twice as good as trimmers costing half as much. Have a think about whether you really need to buy this, or something less expensive.

Cuts Great, with ease, speed and quietly
It's been a long time since I last bought something similar, however upon doing so I'm so glad. This is of much better quality than previously at what I class a goolow to middle price range. Hardly hear the noise of the shaver whilst in use almost silent. It cuts excellently in 1 good swift movement. Good for longer facial hair. For me the final selling point was how gently it cut the hair on around the armpits, chest, and yes groin, so trial tested and well impressed, just need to be brave and try my back crack n sack, like playing Russian roulette in real life!

Japanese made-top quality.
Japanese made, super sharp Japanese steel blade is so it doesn't snag and catch on your beard at all like all the poor quality Chinese made trimmers I've owned from other large manufacturers such as Remington/Philips. Japanese steel is the best there is. If you're looking for a quality trimmer and something that is not Chinese manufactured this is a great choice. Be careful when buying as many manufacturers and sales platforms do not disclose if their product is made in China and you only find that out when opening the box. This however is top quality, 5 stars.

First beard trimmer
I am not the best person to write a review, as this is my first Beard trimmer, and so I have nothing to compare it to. It cuts well enough, but if you remove the guard and 'clean shave' to the skin, it can be painful if you cut in the direction in which you can see the blades (ie so you can see accurately where you are cutting, to get a neat line). If you turn it over, and cut so you cannot see properly (obscured by its own 'head') it doesn't hurt, but it will be 'hit and miss' if you get a straight line/where you want it (important for a bit of facial sculpting!). I haven't tried it as a wet cutter.

Quality trimmer
Having discounted paying over £100 for what appeared to be a high quality beard trimmer (based on unknown lifespan of the rechargeable battery) I found this trimmer at a significantly discounted price. I've not been disappointed. It has a good build quality and the results are a notch above similar priced trimmers. It's easy to clean and the adjustable guard looks like it will last a while. Panasonic even state in the manual that the average life of the rechargeable battery is 3 years. Nice to know. Just be sure to lubricate as recommended. Thoroughly recommended

It's broken.
I expected an item of this quality to last, but 2 and a half years after buying, the dial to adjust length has stopped working.
