Love the look and feel of this. The grind is great and lots of guides come with it. The coffee tastes great.

I got into the habit of buying a coffee from my local every day but this grinder provides me with coffee that's just as good, if not better, for a much cheaper cost in the long run.

I bought this item based on the reviews. First and foremost it is an excellent grinder for filter coffee. I cant afford to buy more than one so it is the only one I have tried- people with more knowledge than me compared them on YouTube and this seemed to come out top.It lost a star because it is expensive- but buy once cry once is my philosophy.it could be a bit quieter, but it runs for 30 seconds at a time. it isnt that loudit could be cleaner- it does make a bit of a mess.the negatives are minor niggles. overall I recommend the grinder.

The Fellow Gen 2 is the successor of the first-generation Ode and although I am not sure how good generation 1 is as I do not own one, but I can say that the Gen 2 Ode is a top-notch grinder.A common problem with this type of coffee grinders is that they are messy and regardless how big their catch cups are, they still somehow end up throwing a lot of coffee grind on the worktop. This is a problem I was surprised to see that this grinder does not have.The catch cup sits quite close up to the grinders which helps, but I think the fact that it has a clean grind, mainly has to do with the anti-static technology which seems to help drop the grind nice and tidy rather than throwing it everywhere. The catch cup lines up magnetically, this being another reason for the clean grinding process as the cup lines up perfectly every time plus it is also very cool to see the cup being pulled in place by the magnet.It has 31 grinding settings but honestly, I don't really use all of them and it is roughly the fine medium and coarse grinding which I most commonly use. The finer coffee grind gives the brew a more complex flavor compared to the course grind but you won't pick up on the notes straight away but it will come with time and the flavors will also depend on the coffee used.This coffee grinder is a lot of a machine and I was expecting it to be bigger and chunkier but for what it is, it does not take up much space in my opinion.Everything about this coffee grinder in its built denotes quality and its stand out design makes it look the part in my kitchen.
