Light but sturdy. Good materials. Doesn't feel like those cheap costume shop novelty hats. The pattern is carefully aligned at the seam. Real vibrant colours. The listing pictures definitely show the genuine item and aren't just generic stock photos.Fits my extra-large coconut well (size 7 5/8 US | 61 cm | 23 7/8 inches). The band should have enough stretch to fit even bigger gorilla noggins without feeling too tight. Although the band is fairly short before stretching, and could easily fit a size small without feeling loose. A true "one-size."Wears well, looks good. Aside from ballcaps I tend to have a knack for making hats look bad. A rare success for me in buying headwear on Amazon. Five stars for sure.

The material is good and when you’re wearing it, People can’t notice that it’s a little inconsistently made - Will be happily wearing it like I said the Black rim that goes around your head is longer in some spots and shorter and others - The way it sewn together is not even but like I said the material is good otherwise and nobody will notice it so I have been happily wearing it even though I noticed the inconsistencies

I got the Kilt Emporium Scottish Tammy Hat - Traditional Kilt Tam o' Shatner Wool Blend with Pompom - Assorted Tartans in Ancient Campbell.The tag did not have more information about the proportion of wool in the blend. I did find the hat comfortable to wear and not itchy at all thanks to the wool lining. The rib knit surrounding the opening holds the hat in place.This Tam O'Shatner is well made. The plaid was carefully matched across panels, which is a nice touch. The pom-pom is very dense and makes a perfect handle for removing the hat.This hat is also very flattering on.
