Sharp blades that makes peeling a breeze
I've had my old peeler for the past 10 years or so and while it still worked, relatively ok. It was getting to the point where it was rather annoying having to put more and more pressure when peeling.This Fiskars peeler has definitely made a huge change in how quickly and smoothly peeling is done.The style is slightly different from the contemporary peeler, but it is easy to get used to and the sharpness of the blades made me wonder what took me so long to replace my old one.If you're thinking about and are on the fence - get it. It's a life changer :D

Great peeler
Great peeler, have ordered two of these now, the second because we lost the first! This peeler is comfortable to hold and has a non slip handle. It's sharp, smooth and easily peels in either direction.

Simple, precise and reliable piece
It remains sharp, holds very well in hand, makes it for a comfortable peeler, but one of the interesting things is that it also behaves well after many washes in a dishwasher, despite having a soft rubbery grip coating. Many things that I had in the past, usually starts losing the grip material or it becomes flaky and gooey - this peeler has nothing like that. Washed with different tablets and still holds it as it was new, after over two years I think.

This is a very sharp peeler.
I didn't realise when I first used this how sharp it was, and I ended up cutting myself. If you're willing to take the risk it's well worth it because it's just as deadly with potatoes and carrots as it is with fingers. They've managed to produce something with a little bit of extra quality, and the difference is noticeable.

Smooth gliding action, thin peeling, ideal for potatoes and carrots
For those who have suffered rubbish peelers this peeler is the answer. I have bought two peelers before this one which both took large chunks and a thick layer of skin.This peeler glides smoothly and only take a thin layer of skin away. Very refreshing to see, which led me to leave this review... I don't know what people use their peelers for, but I use it on potatoes and carrots. Trust me, if you've been annoyed by other peelers, you got to get this!!
