My best book by far
I just love the pictures in this book so quirky and a joy to colour. The best bit for me is its not all thick black lines (which play havoc with my visual vertigo) and there's only one picture per page with a black back the other side so you can use all kinds of media without the worry of it bleeding through. And if that wasn't enough there are also some sample pictures of the artists other work/books at the back. Can't recommend enough.

Must buy!!
Beautiful!!! Love coloring the pages.... so much fun and details in the book. Love the little mice and their residents with veg and foods. so cute!!! The only thing I would have preferred is the first page has a beautiful large mushroom with the author's name and reads 'adult coloring book on the Mushroom. I would have liked the writing on a separate page so the mushroom does not have writing. I was so excited to color the BIG mushroom and am trying to cover the writing up but can't. Otherwise I love it. I hope the author thinks about this and prints the title and names on separate pages and not on the drawings. Really beautiful drawings though. Love every corner of them.

Lovely Book but....
I was looking forward to receiving delivery of Nice Little Town 4 by Tanya Bogema and was not disappointed. The images are really sweet and I couldn’t wait to get started on colouring them in. Unfortunately the paper is thin with little texture ( hence 4 stars instead of 5). I began with watercolour and was very careful not to add too much water in case the paper tore. It did wrinkle quite a lot but next morning it had flattened out. Next I tried coloured pencils using Arteza and Castle Art plus a Derwent colour pencil blender pen. Unfortunately it is hard work getting the colours to layer. Cheaper pencils would utterly fail in the task of blending. However, my coloured pencils have nice soft cores with good pigment which made it easier to lay down the colour. There is simply not enough texture to the paper. This is a shame as it really is a lovely book with lots of pages and worth having a slightly thicker textured paper. Having said all that I would buy again and shall be checking out this artist’s other books. At the back of the book there are images to colour that are taken from her other books, which is a nice idea. But, please please, please can the paper be better quality in the next book.

Lovely pictures, great that reverse page is blacked out so no worry of pens bleeding through
Really enjoy colouring these cute pictures, not too busy, yet not too simple for adults. Have & will buy again

Beautiful, whimsical images.
I enjoy colouring in the Nice Little Town series by Tanya and always look forward to a new release. I'm working my way down from NLT 8 so still have a few to collect. The paper is nothing special and I know a lot of colourists scan and print on decent paper but after a bit of trial and error I get results that I'm happy with. I used a marker base and Caran Dache Pablo's for this one.

Paper is poor
Love the pictures, really sweet , will be fun to colour- but the paper is low quality, it has the picture to the left not central which isn't as good as central and the pictures are grey tone on the paper and the border white .

Really nice to colour.
Really nice book to colour, the page underneath the one you are colouring is black so no colour comes through to spoil another picture, the theme is small mice and their homes which is really nice to try different colour schemes on the trees and backgrounds, I really like the back pages as you get a chance to colour pictures from the artists other books.
