This really helps when stray dogs charge you.
A neighbor’s pitbull was running loose in the street. I was walking my little dog. As soon as I saw him, I extended the cattle prod and caught him right side and boy. He did not like that so I carried every time I’m out walking Vinny.

This thing is awesome
I love this thing. Holds a charge for a long time. Folds down to fit in your back pocket until you need it. The flashlight is good and bright. Very durable. I dropped my the second day and didn't even scratch it which is good for me because I am hard on thing. Worth every penny.

Annoying: Light comes on when you hit the shock button.
Works as advertised. The extending shaft is a little sticky. Had to knock off a star because of the very annoying "feature" of the light coming on every time you hit the shock button. No way to turn it off.

broken in one day
Worked on 3 pig then it burned out is not good for live stock not strong enough of worth the price.

Broken after a few months
Lasted about 5 months before it broke. You can hear something inside jingling loose and the power goes on and off. We have never used it to shock anything and it just gets carried on dog walks and placed back on the counter. So it's not like we were rough with it.
