The bag we received was 5lbs of candy expiring in March. We didn't realize it was almost expired so we opened some of the packs and it is definitely old candy. The Swedish Fish were all hard and grainy.We ordered this 5lbs bag to use for a school function in April but now we can't use it and it will all go to waste. Definitely disappointing.

I'm a long-time fan of Sour Patch Kids, followed closely by Swedish Fish in the non-chocolate, chewy treats category.This is a plastic bag stuffed with a mix of 5 total pounds of both. The five pounds does include packaging weight, not just the consumable weight. As each packet has about 5-6 pieces, that's a lot of plastic.Each pack is not labeled for individual sale, which means there are no ingredients, allergen statement or nutrition information. They each have an expiration date about 3 months from now, but from experience will be ok after for a bit after that - too long and the Sour Patch Kids get stuck together, though.These are listed as "fun size" which is either enough to quell a sugar craving or enough to make you crave more. (Typically the second.) They'd be nice for a gathering, Halloween, Christmas stockings, Easter baskets and other sorts of party favors.Sour Patch Kids? Divine. They include blue in the mix, though don't expect to receive all colors or an equal mix in each bag. That's not how this works. There's a few pieces, some leftover sugar and just sadness that they're all gone.Swedish Fish don't necessarily translate well to this size. It's not the seller's fault, but that delightful chewiness and matte finish (I swear it tastes different) just isn't the same as in the original larger size. These are all red, no color variation here which is a shame because the green are The Best.Also, red Swedish Fish are lingonberry flavored, so now you know that.5 stars because it is, indeed, a five pound bag full of Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish as advertised.

While I'm not a huge fan of Swedish Fish (others in my household love them), Sour Patch are my favorite! I can't order the full sized bags because I'd just eat too many! Mini bags are a little easier to help myself control what I eat.That being said, do know that there are only 4 or 5 pieces per little bag. I swear there used to be more. But anyway, that really has nothing to do with this third party seller as they just re-package. There's still plenty and plenty of candy in there…because well…5 lbs.Flavor wise, these were good! They seemed mostly fresh. Every here and there, you get a bag that has a couple hard pieces but that's sort of inevitable.I do want to note that these do come in a bulk BAG…not a box as pictured. Not a big deal to me but it may be important to some.

This bulk sized bag of two popular gummies will provide sweet tooth gratification for the entire family. The Sour Patch Kids are small gummy treats that come in various fruit flavors, including cherry, orange, lemon and lime. Each Sour Patch Kid is about the size of a regular gummy bear. Tiny granules of sour sugar coat each gummy Kid, which gives them a grainy texture and a knockout sour punch. The contrast of the sour sugar and the sweet gummy candy provides a multi-sensory taste experience that is hard to beat. The sour and the sweet tastes seem to hit simultaneously. You can dump the sour sugar dust remnants that is left in the bag, into your mouth for a super sour experience that is similar to eating a giant Pixy Stix. Now, as for the Swedish Fish Minis, they may be tiny, but they are not lacking in flavor. When I open the bag and release the sweet smell, I immediately get a blast from the past. They are nice and soft, indicating their freshness, as well as chewy, but not stick to my teeth chewy.

They arrived March 18th. I ordered in advance to give to my class as a treat. March 28th I went to hand them out only to realize they expired March 22nd. Last thing I wanted to do was have a bunch of parents get upset with me bc I gave their kids expired candy.
