So these were actually a lot bigger and sturdier than I thought they would be. They are probably a bit too big for my 2 year old right now as regular beach bag items, but these will definitely last and will be great for more serious play and digging next summer. So much better than the flimsy ones he normally breaks!

These were great for our visiting grandkids ages 7&8! They loved them at the beach and took them home up north for digging in the dirt come spring. Nice sturdy product comes in good size for older kids!

I should have looked at reviews. These are huge. I wouldn’t have ordered them had I realized this. The kids want to keep them though. They appear sturdy just large for little hands.

Best shovels for the beach! Very sturdy. We bought our 3 year old some from the dollar store and they broke within the first 3 digs of sand. We purchased these, and they are a bit on the pricey side, but you get what u pay for. He LOVES them and always wants to dig anywhere we go.

I bought these for my kids to use at the beach because they seem to be very solid and sturdy and I didn't want a shovel that would break right away. They are perfect for my kids who are a little older, but may be a little difficult for a toddler or smaller child to use due their size.

Bought for my small granddaughters. They seem to be very sturdy and should last a long time. Unfortunately they're really too big for them but I'd say they'd be great for kids aged 5+.

Bought these for the beach but since getting home several months ago the boys have used them to shovel water at each other in the pool, dig for worms, and scoop mulch. They have held up well. The only wear they have shown is that they are starting to fade in color from the sun.

I'm torn. I want to give this 4 stars, because I did put the shovels through alot. But ultimately one of the shovels broke. So I'll have to stick with 3 stars. I should clarify that these shovels were not just bought for my kid, but for me too. And I put alot of good use into it, digging some pretty extensive sand castles. That said, I would hoping they would last a little longer considering the good reviews people had been giving it. While digging in some dense sand (after the tide had receded) I had to push pretty hard to get the shovel to go in. I met a thicker patch of wet sand and felt the shovel flex and then break. Was hoping it was good for kids and adults. Or maybe you could argue I was too hard on it. Either way, good while it lasted (the blue one) but I would hope for a little more lifetime from shovels at this price.I bought these less than a month ago and we've been to the beach about 2-3 times a week since. So maybe 10-12 total uses.
