exactly what I expected

Excellent little tool to keep in your camping kit.
I use these carabiners for a multitude of applications. Hanging up lights, securing tents in place, adjusting tension while setting up a tarp shelter etc. Basically these are a variant of the truckers hitch for those familiar with rope. Only they’re a lot nicer on your cordage and you can apply a great deal of tension to your line. Very quick to setup and take down. So far I’m very pleased with this project and think it’s an excellent design.

Great for quick tie downs
These figure 9 clips are super handy to have around, I use them to secure tarps, covers for generators, and other things and they make quick work with some paracord. Definitely keep a few in the truck as well to use in combination with ratchet straps. Nite Ize makes high quality stuff and these are no exception.

Great for camping
These are great for adjusting guy lines, lashing stuff to the roof rack, etc. I've used Nite Ize stuff for years and have always been happy with it.
