It's no secret, we're connected to our phones and keeping them charged is a must. The GIN FOXI Mini Portable Charger for iPhone is perfect for exactly that....AND doing it the smallest way possible too! Very lightweight and charging the unit is a snap - simply plug in the included cable into your charging brick and you're good to go. I find this charger very unique in that the included cable is a USB-A to lightning cable - this is something you don't see too often with chargers as they are typically USB-A to USB-C.I really like that the lightning connector at the top of the charger has a cover on it.....that stays CONNECTED to the unit! I have other chargers that have a cover, but it's not connected to the charger and therefore, you have the possibility of losing the cap.The large digital readout at the top of the charger is great so you'll always know how much juice you've got and when you need to charge it.The other bonus the GIN FOXI Mini Portable Charger for iPhone has going for it, is that it comes with a very nice semi-hardshell traveling case which is fantastic!

We purchased last year. Today it caught fire while charging and could have burned our house down if he hasn't gotten to it before it just burned window sill and curtain. Do not buy, certainly do not charge unattended.

I really like the size of this charger--it's just kind of perfect for when I need to go walk the dog and want to listen to an audio book but my phone's battery is low. I want something small enough to fit into girl pockets (not as deep as boy pockets, so space is a definite concern) and keep my phone alive while I walk. An added bonus is that it charges quickly so that even while I'm using it, my phone is charging while I walk.I've got mixed feelings about the readout of the level of charge available on the charger... on one hand, it's really helpful to see how much power is left so I know exactly when it needs to be charged (and whether it's going to be enough to change my phone while I walk). One the other hand, seeing it diminish in actual numbers (my other power banks just have general indicators of 25/50/75/100%) makes it feel like it loses power more quickly. I honestly don't think that's really true--it's just that seeing it diminish in real numbers feels more immediate.All in all, it's a great little charger--I haven't had any issues with it falling out of the phone (I've had issues with other chargers where the connection isn't great) and it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

This portable iPhone charger by GIN FOXI is a great tool to have on hand at all times. Have you ever been in a situation where your phone battery was about to die & you had no way to recharge it since you didn't have the cord with you &/or didn't have access to a power outlet to plug it in? If you've experienced this before, then you know how FRUSTRATING it is! Likewise, it can also be rather worrisome, especially if you need to be able to communicate with a specific individual for important & time-sensitive purposes such as your spouse, a friend or family member, your boss, or emergency personnel). Or, maybe you need to keep an eye out for an important text or e-mail that you're expecting within the hour & cannot afford to have your phone die on you! There are a multitude of things we utilize our phones for these days. Thus, for most of us, having our phone die on us last minute is NOT an option. And THAT is precisely where this amazing cordless battery charger steps in to save the day! :DThere's a reason why this product already has over 100+ positive reviews. People like it! And why wouldn't they? It's portable, reliable, & affordable. It's compact, cordless, & charges up quickly. What's more, built into the device is a smart LCD digital display that keeps track of how much charge is left on your battery; this is very useful to know, as with some other portable chargers out there, you WON'T ever know how much charge is left available, which just leaves you guessing & keeping your fingers crossed it will be enough to get you through!).Overall, I have no complaints with this product. At the same time, here's the other thing: recently I got a very cool portable charger (by a different brand on Amazon) that not only has all of the features I just listed above, but - ALSO - has more. This other iPhone battery charger I have comes with a built-in flashlight in three different color tones, an SOS flashing light option (which would be quite handy to have in the event that you'd ever need to signal for help in an emergency situation), AND -- it has a built-in phone stand (so you can set your phone on the counter WHILE it's being charged). These are all terrific bonus features that I super appreciate about that particular charger, and for those reasons, that other product earned my 5 stars. Now, to be fair, that other portable battery charger (again, on Amazon) is at least $5 more than this one. So, if those extra features don't matter to you much, I'd recommend keeping it simple & sticking with one that's got all the basics down -- like this one from GIN FOXI. :) From what I've seen so far, this one appears to check all the boxes for meeting my basic needs in a portable phone charger.I hope this reflection helps at least one person. :-)

I love this iPhone portable charger. It is my first portable charger so I cannot compare it with others. What I can say is I like the speed at which it charges my phone. I now use my old cracked iPhone 7 Plus as a backup phone. I keep the portable charger close by the phone to grab and go all at once. I like that you can press a button to see how much “juice” is left on the charger and watch the number (percentage) on the charger drop as it charges the phone and the number increases . It comes with a cute and handy storage case, along with a cord. I have already used this charger for backup purposes when I was out of the house and my phone needed charging. The portable charger does not come already charged. First, you charge the portable charger via the Apple charging cable. Then it is ready to go. It comes with an instruction manual but it is simple to use.

It didn’t even work for one full charge. Total waste of money especially when there are so many other options.
