My son asked for the Diary of a Whimpy kid books for christmas so I set out to find the complete collection. He already had book #12 and a couple others. I bought this set for my grandmother to give him for christmas present and he was soooooo happy! It makes me happy as a parent to have found a book that keeps his interest in reading! They are great books for both boys and girls. Now for #11 to come out in paperback!

These are the first books that got my ten year old son to read on his own!!! He has now read the whole series with no fighting!

My grandson loves these books. At a well known bookstore, these books were only available in hardback and the similar set would have cost over $160. Amazon sold, in paperback form, for less than half. I could not have afforded it otherwise. My grandson loves to read.

The books are great for my older son who just finished first grade. He got into this series at the beginning of the summer and I got him this set to bring to our summer travels. He went through them all in no time. But in the days that they lasted, they kept my son well entertained. I also dipped into the pages and like them. My brother-in-law picked up one and couldn't put it down. We saw the series on display in Portuguese supermarkets and German bookstores and met other kids who read the German version of them. The wide and ageless appeal of these books is self-evident.​

My son (10) loves these books, only thing to note is that these are the UK version (at least that's what was delivered to me), so there is colour, sledging, etc. Definitely UK English which has had my son ask some questions about spelling lately.Other than that, they came in quickly and brand new quality.

Purchased a used set at $2/book and have zero complaints on the quality! Very happy.
