Fun for basketball lovers
We got this for my 12 year-old basketball loving son for Christmas. When we played as a family, he and my husband (both bball fans) really enjoyed it. It has the essence of Monopoly, but brings basketball into the game with a few twists. The game board tokens were colored basketballs. Instead of property, you play games which was fun, so you didn't always end up having to pay rent when you landed on someone else's game "property." We bought some booster packs which made it a lot more fun--would definitely recommend--but as someone who doesn't know basketball, I was at a sore disadvantage when I tried to draft my team. I'm going to have to brush on some basketball players before I play again---and next time I won't let my son draft me a losing team! Was a much faster game than the original too, which was wonderful! If you enjoy basketball, you'll love it.
